My name is Philip W. Gasbarro, and I am an attorney licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as the Federal District Court for the District of Rhode Island. I received my B.A. from Stonehill College cum laude in Philosophy, and my J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law magna cum laude.

For me, the practice of law is more than just a career, it is a profession and a vocation. I have found that being in a small office lets me work directly with each and every one of my clients.

The first step of that process is this website, which for many clients is their first stop in learning more about my firm. My hands-on approach applies here too—all of the content is written directly by me. This is intended to give prospective clients an opportunity to see how I think and what sets me apart.

But I always try to remember that life is not a zero-sum game – it’s all about balance. That is a lesson that I was fortunate to have learned from great mentors along the way. So when I’m not at the office, I’m either spending time with my family or pursuing one of my hobbies, which include hiking, gardening, and competitive shooting sports.
